Plain Silver
Silber ist bei der Kollision von riesigen Neutronensternen etwa 80 Millionen Jahre vor Geburt unseres Sonnensystems entstanden, ins Weltall geschleudert und in der damals noch nicht gefestigten Erdkruste gelandet. Silber wird von Menschen seit etwa dem 5. Jahrtausend v. Chr. Verarbeitet. Ein grosser Teil des Silbers, welches ich in meinem Schmuck verarbeite, kaufe ich als Feinsilber und legiere es mit einem kleinen Anteil Kupfer zu 925er Silber, auch Sterling Silber genannt. Inspiration für meine Kreationen finde ich vor allem in den Formen von Pflanzen und der Natur im Allgemeinen, aber auch in Schmuckstücken, die ich auf Reisen entdecke.
Silver was formed by the collision of giant neutron stars about 80 million years before the birth of our solar system, thrown into space and landed in the Earth's crust, which was not yet consolidated at the time. Silver has been processed by humans since about the 5th millennium BC. Most of the silver that I use in my jewelry I buy as fine silver and alloy it with a small amount of copper to 925 silver, also called sterling silver. I find inspiration for my creations mainly in the shapes of plants and nature in general, but also in Jewellery that I discover while traveling.
