Coming from a background of Skateboarding, Snowboarding & Surfing, the photographer finds inspiration in the work of Ed Templeton, Ray Barbee, Jason Lee, Spidey Smith, Robert Frank and Nick Cave, among others. Different areas of art, such as music, also constantly influence his images.

Preferably using the medium of analogue photography, Fabian Scheidegger consciously chooses a method that offers a contrast to the fast pace of today's world.
